It essentially adds the soft, timeo=x options if not already present, or if hard is not explicitly specified (well, after a minor correction). It fixes a big annoyance compared to IMO low risk. The risk is that user would be annoyed by error popups if the NFS server becomes unresponsive during downloading files from it (but the user would also be able to cancel the installation on the other hand, which is not quite easy currently, as was said in bug description). an ideal solution would be to use 'intr' option and hard mount, and provide a means for killing the nfs mount or transaction from within yast if needed. But this needs far much work (maybe a fate request should be opened for this). http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/pseries/v5r3/index.jsp?topic=/com.i... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
