https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=246157 Summary: opensuseupdater-icon for "patches-available" should be demand more attention Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: sven.burmeister@gmx.net QAContact: qa@suse.de If an error occurs, opensuseupdater shows an red exclamation-mark, the perfect icon and colour for showing that attention to it is needed. Yet the "patches-available" icon only has a tiny yellow arrow. It would be nice, if the red exclamation-mark would signal patches or at least something as unambiguous, i.e. the colour red and not just a tiny arrow. I am not sure about another issue. If updates are available, just the colour of the arrow changes. For colour-blind people there might hardly be a difference, since the icon itself does not change. So the latter would be another reason to use the exclamation mark for signaling updates and maybe a red dot, a broken dot or a normal dot with a bolt on it to signal that there were errors. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
