https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=240834 novell@spinink.net changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|RESOLVED |REOPENED Resolution|WORKSFORME | ------- Comment #2 from novell@spinink.net 2007-02-07 18:21 MST ------- Im sorry, my request must have been poorly worded. I am talking about doing a network install. Currently the user has to find this install source and figure out whats the path and what is the server part of this massive url. Also, non-technical users are often unaware that apache servers are case sensitive by default. So there is a LOT of room for error in the current method of doing a network install. I wrote a guide on this process for my website some time ago, it can be found here: http://spinink.net/2005/12/18/suse-linux-network-install/ Such a guide should not be needed. The user should be able to choose their install method as ftp/http, then be presented with a choice of installation sources. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
