Every invocation of insserv on a current factory installation prints to stderr:

insserv: There is a loop between service cupsd and smbfs

cupsd is provided by /etc/init.d/cups from cups-1.2.7-15, smbfs is provided by
/etc/init.d/smbfs from samba-client-3.0.23d-20.

A similar message is also printed during system startup:

# grep loop /var/log/boot.msg
<6>loop: loaded (max 8 devices)
Setting up loopback interface lo
loop exists smbfs in smb!
loop exists smbfs in smb!
loop exists smbfs in smb!
