Summary: fontforge-20061220-5 : 'pt' is used uninitialized in
this function
Product: openSUSE 10.3
Version: unspecified
Platform: All
OS/Version: SuSE Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Other
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: dcb314@xxxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx

I just tried to compile package fontforge-20061220-5
with the GNU C compiler version 4.3 snapshot 20070202.

The compiler said

ustring.c:676: warning: 'pt' is used uninitialized in this function

The source code is

char *utf8_2_latin1_copy(const char *utf8buf) {

Suggest initialise local variable pt in the routine
before first use.
