I had the same during installation of the eMachines T6528 system based on Athlon 64, hard disk PATA 160 MB, preinstalled XP. Resizing worked fine, but creation of partition failed. So far I recall, it created swap and very small root partition (2 MB ?), no home. It was custom partitioning in order to leave some space for archive that will be created later. Workaround was to exit Expert Partitioning, switch to terminal with Ctrl-Alt-F2, check what is mounted with mount command, run fdisk, remove small root partition, create root and home, write in partition table, switch back to installation GUI, go back to Expert Partitioning and finish the job. When I was going back to Expert Partitioning it warned me that it can only format existing partitions, not create new. Today I created partition first with cfdisk, then to test YaST, run Expert Partitioner, removed created partition and again created, and it worked fine. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
