https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=239152 Summary: In Error dialog box: Ignore button has the same result as Abort button -> Abort Installation Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: f.ellenberger@gmx.net QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Hi, I think, there is a small, but fatal, wrong link in the error message dialog, when executing installation: The "Ignore"-button has the same result as "Abort"-button, both abort the installation. What happened: I tried to update Suse 10.0 using the downloaded and burned DVD, from which I booted. After making my adjustment "No, do not uninstall unsupported packets", installation started. Then I got an error message like "packet foobar fails integrity check". I don't know, what is the cause. Could there be a problem with my DVD burner? The check install media routine says No. OK, after trying a few times "Retry", I press "Ignore" and the program says "Installation aborted". So I had to go about 20 times through the installation: Yes, I accept the licence; No, do not uninstall unsupported packets ... until I got again a running system, which is much smaller than my old system was, because in the packets, which were for update reasons deleted, before the error occured, are gone. When I press ignore, I would expect "skip current packet and continue with the rest" -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
