https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=236089 Summary: yast2 does not recognize ignore function Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Blocker Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: thomas.jones@maitreyasecurity.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com openSUSE 10.2 local yast-qt installation. Accepted all defaults. Proceeded with gnome package installation. According to yast2 the checksum for the gimp-help package failed. Given the criticality of the package for my installation I accepted the risk and proceeded to ignore the package failure. Upon selecting ignore, yast2 proceeds to display a final installation dialog and then closes yast2 and actuates the end-user login screen. The installation did not continue and I am left with a non-working system upon reboot. The user is not able to login due to pam not being installed yet, and no /etc/passwd or /etc/shadow has been generated. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
