I commited slightly cleaned up version of the patch, it would be nice to test if it still works.
I've just built s2ram myself from sf.net CVS, and it does still work. (Btw. I had to add -lz to the makefile, -lpci seems to require that now.) (In reply to comment #28)
If this machine has an intel chipset, it is most likely an X bug.
It's an Intel 855GM using the i810 driver. 2D and 3D acceleration are currently enabled. Is it useful to test with these disabled?
You could try if "-a3" or "-p -m" helps (-a3 would be preferred, since it happens totally in kernel space).
OK, will do that now.
Another note: Are you sure that you have no acpi_sleep boot parameter? You can check this with "cat /proc/sys/kernel/acpi_video_flags", it must be 0.
It is: # cat /proc/sys/kernel/acpi_video_flags 0 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
