https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=227881 stefan.fent@novell.com changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution| |FIXED ------- Comment #6 from stefan.fent@novell.com 2006-12-22 01:47 MST ------- Too bad, as having fake-RAID systems (BIOS-RAID) is new in 10.2, and we would really like to have more of such reports. Without logs, I fear I have to close this bug, as it works now. And the information you gave just allows guessing. For some reason, the mapping from kernel-device to grub-device did not work in the initial report, therefore you have a broken /boot/grub/device.map This apparently was done with disabled RAID. In Comment #3, the RAID is enabled (at least there is a RAID detected by device mapper, but still the mapping to Grub notation didn't work. Why it finally worked - I don't know. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
