https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=217591 ------- Comment #14 from p79kem2@yahoo.ca 2006-12-14 13:39 MST ------- I am now working with openSUSE Linux 10.2 GM. Additional testing shows that I am able to create Data CD and burn iso images if I use the HP 7500i CDWriter. The problem with burning CDs and DVD appears to be isolated to the Benq DQ60 DVDWriter. PS. There was one weird thing that I noticed with the Benq DQ60 DVDWriter. CDs created on the Benq would prove problematic if Benq was used to read the CDs it created. The Media Check function, both standalone and during installation, would report inconsistent md5sum values for the CDs. During installation, packages would sometimes be reported as missing. There were no problems when the same CDs were read by the HP 7500i CDWriter. Those were the only instances, other than this, where I have experienced problems with the BenQ DVDWriter. I have not experienced any problems with the Benq DVDWriter when using Nero on Microsoft Windows XP SP2. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
