https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=226732 Summary: Can't repeat failed internet test Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: mmarek@novell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com I started installation (from 10.1 CDs, retested now with a 10.2 iso on hard disk) and forgot to plug in the ethernet cable :) => The internet test failed as expected. So I plugged the cable, pressed Back and Next (Enhancement: a "Retry" button would be cool), but the test failed again, with "DHCP client already running on eth0". Back, "dhcpcd -k" in the console and Next passed the internet test this time, but the Novell Customer Center Configuration dialog still didn't work, because /etc/resolv.conf didn't contain any nameserver entries. Strangely enough, they appeared there when the EXTRAURLS/OPTIONALURLS dialog popped up. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
