https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=225756 Summary: cgwd: mime-info related packaging problems Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: unspecified Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Xgl AssignedTo: dreveman@novell.com ReportedBy: andreas.hanke@gmx-topmail.de QAContact: bperry@novell.com cgwd has two loosely related packaging problems: (1) It installs old mime-info support files into the /usr prefix. /usr/share/mime-info /usr/share/mime-info/cgwd.mime These files are old GNOME stuff; they will not be read from /usr and should either be moved to /opt/gnome, or removed entirely (AFAIR, they are not used anymore). (2) It copies a shared-mime-info support file into the file system, but doesn't actually install it: /usr/share/mime/packages/cgwd.xml There are two ways to fix this: - Add a PreReq on shared-mime-info: PreReq: shared-mime-info %post update-mime-database usr/share/mime > /dev/null || : %postun update-mime-database usr/share/mime > /dev/null || : - Test if update-mime-database is present, and use it only if it is installed. This avoids the PreReq. %post if [ -x usr/bin/update-mime-database ]; then usr/bin/update-mime-database usr/share/mime > /dev/null fi %postun if [ -x usr/bin/update-mime-database ]; then usr/bin/update-mime-database usr/share/mime > /dev/null fi -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
