https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=219948 Summary: screen is displayed in different possitions during boot and X-sessions. Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Beta 2 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: sndirsch@novell.com ReportedBy: sven.burmeister@gmx.net QAContact: sndirsch@novell.com I have a NVidia GeForce 4 graphics card and a fresh install of beta2. While booting the screen is right where it should be, however if KDE comes up, the picture is a centimeter too far to the right. If I use sax2 to move the picture, it cannot be centered, i.e. moving it two times to the left is too much, moving it one time is too little. So I use the display's "Auto" functionality that centers the picture. However, if I do so, on booting the picture is too far too the left. Either way, I cannot get the picture to be centered in both situations anf have to choose, which might not be a major bug, but it looks ugly and mediates a broken setup. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
