https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=179702 ------- Comment #92 from trenn@novell.com 2006-10-27 09:26 MST ------- I placed a plain SLE10 kernel with ACPI_PNP compiled out and mouse again compiled in here: ftp.suse.com/pub/people/trenn/sle10_SP1_hp_fix_cpufreq_no_ACPI_PNP AFAIK ACPI_PNP plays around with system resources and potentially has the power to mess up system memory, which I think (if I interpret Vojtechs input right) psmouse has not. If this works I have a beginning where in kernel code it's worth to look at...
