https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=214384 Summary: kstart always switches to target virtual desktop, no way to switch this off Product: SUSE Linux 10.1 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: SuSE Linux 10.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: odabrunz@novell.com QAContact: kde-maintainers@suse.de When I use "kstart" to open an X windows application on a different virtual desktop, kstart always switches to that desktop: kstart --desktop 2 --window . xterm OR kstart --desktop 2 --window . konqueror I found no way to switch this off. AFAICR, in SUSE Linux 9.1 kstart only switched to the other virtual desktop when the "--activate" option was given. The "--activate" option still exists, but since the target virtual desktop is activated by default now the option has become useless. I want the old kstart behaviour back so I can start programs on other desktops "in the background". -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
