https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=214332 Summary: Support for ATI's BigDesktop Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Alpha 5 plus Platform: x86 OS/Version: OES - Linux Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Xgl AssignedTo: dreveman@novell.com ReportedBy: mick@wever.org QAContact: bperry@novell.com ATI's BigDesktop is still not working. It works at the gdm level, but as soon as compiz kicks in it all crashes. It could be a compiz bug? but since compiz starting corresponds with the first draw to the second monitor it could be a xgl bug. (Gdm is not setup to display across both screens.) Despite a number of small bugs in xgl-compiz this is the most critical for me, and i've stopped using xgl because of it. Working at a dual-monitor desk offers more productivity to my day than xgl-compiz does.
