https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=213716 Summary: Use KGtk if KDE is running Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Alpha 5 plus Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: stefan.bogner@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Even though this request has been kind of rejected in IRC already, here's an enhancement request ;-) http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=36077 "This is a quick-and-dirty LD_PRELOAD hack that allows *some* Gtk applications to use KDE's file dialogs when run under KDE. " I am using this successfully with Gimp, Firefox and some others for quite a while already and it appears to be pretty stable, I've not had any serious issues up to now. It finally adds usable file open and save dialogs to Firefox and other Gnome apps. From an integration perspective, this is a huge step forward. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
