https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=179702 trenn@novell.com changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |ASSIGNED ------- Comment #77 from trenn@novell.com 2006-10-17 08:03 MST ------- I placed kernels to: ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/trenn/sle10_SP1_hp_fix_cpufreq_ACPI_events_kernels/ that hopefully fixes this issue (thanks to Vojtech for i8042 suggestions) and the issues stated in: #200169 - HP nx9420 AC / Battery status not updated. This kernel is based on the SLE SP1 update kernel. This won't be fixed in one of the SLE 10 update kernels (only in SP) as the patches are too intrusive. I tried suspend to disk and it still worked. Ihno tried suspend to ram and reported that it broke (worked with plain SLE10 kernels). I am trying to find out what goes wrong there. I could only test this shortly on an older HP which does not have the symptoms. The patches are mainly collected and adjusted patches from linux-acpi list and current kernel. Pls give it a try. It would be nice if you could check whether everything (fans, battery,..) still work fine after a suspend to disk. Thanks. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
