@ Cristian Rodriguez "It ain't broke..." right, yeah. We've always done it that way is not necessarily a good reason to continue to do so.
well.. currenly the work is reducing the distro size, and not enlarger it more, it is big enough already.
What is it that you have against this? ou don't have to download this if you don't want to, you can stick with the i586, x86_64, or whatever it is that you're using. I don't see anything awful in that, the mirrors will manage to handle these additional RPMs for sure, confused users problem can be solved if we only want to, so what's the real deal then ? It won't give anyone a significiant performance increase ? How do you know that? There never was any attempt to release such a version of SuSE, why not just give it a try?
I don't have nothing against the complete distro being optimized for 686 only. thanks ok. if you still think Im wrong. you can use google and see how other mainstream distros are built, your search will reveal Im right, there will be no need to elaborate more. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
