https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=210971 Summary: It is impossible to delete note using keyboard. Note type deselection does not switch off note entering mode. Product: SUSE Linux 10.1 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: SuSE Linux 10.1 Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: Wojciech.Szenajch@bull.com.pl QAContact: kde-maintainers@suse.de In version 2.8.0 noteedit-2.8.0-16 deleting notes using DELETE, backspace or any other user defined key is not possible. This is standard noteeditr included in OpenSuSE 10.1 distro (CD - media). Lack of delete possibility different than undo function. This makes noteedit almost unusable. Another bug: In older versions deselecting entered note type (breve, Full note, Half note, Quarter Note, etc.) switched off notes entering mode. In 2.8.0 version this does not work - it stays in entering mode. Workaround is possible by klicking "Select key" twice. Version distributed with SuSE 10.0: noteedit-2.7.3-7 worked correctly. Description of fixed bugs in version 2.8.1 reports several key(keyboard) bugs fixed. Anyway upgrading to 2.8.1 as a part of SuSE10.1 distro is highly recommended because of printing feature added. Remark: All OS andd kde relevant patches up to day 9.10.2006 were applied. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
