https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=210260 Summary: KDE cant connect to cups anymore Product: SUSE LINUX 10.0 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Printing AssignedTo: jsmeix@novell.com ReportedBy: axel.braun@gmx.de QAContact: jsmeix@novell.com Gents, since I installed a KDE upgrade to 3.5.4 release 78.1 KDE cant connect anymore to Cups (1.20) whereas other software, that uses Cups directly (OO, Acrobat) prints perfectly. After starting kprinter, it initializes the printing system, and then says 'faild to connect: Verbindungsaufbau abgelehnt'. As printserver, localhost:631 is entered, and in cupsd.conf, it listens on that port. Connect via browser works. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
