https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=209598 Summary: dbus daemon running but kpowersave can not connect Product: SUSE Linux 10.1 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: SuSE Linux 10.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Hotplug AssignedTo: ihno@novell.com ReportedBy: Elmar_Stellnberger@hotmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Newly kpowersave reports the error message "DBUS daemon not running" more and more often. Likewise the Yast2 power management module says it can not connect to DBUS daemon though it is running in root mode. Nevertheless DBUS is running. Even restarting does not help.
