https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=208536 Summary: Wiereless device not detected Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Alpha 4 Platform: 64bit OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: hugo.costelha@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de I have a PCI wireless device, brand SMC Networks, reference SMCWPCIT-G. In SUSE Linux 10.1 I have the madwifi-0.9.1 drivers installed, and YAST detected the wireless card, allowing for a very easy configuration of the drive. It works without problems in SUSE 10.1. In openSUSE 10.2 alpha4, although I have installed wlan-kmp-default, YAST does not detect the wireless card. Doing lspci on openSUSE 10.2, it reports: 05:07.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications, Inc. AR5212 802.11abg NIC (rev 01) I saw bug #179559, but it was fixed long time ago, so it should be related with this one. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
