Hi, I did some organization for the release party in Nuremberg today. The current facts are: We will provide barbecue and beer for estimated 60 people. The party will take place in the ex koelbl&kalb area and outside. Ofecher got an offer for the food of 279 Euro (potato salad, sausages, steaks) including a lent grill. For the beer we will need about 5 boxes of franconian beer. Is this ok with our budget? To make the release party a good event, we need some volunteers for: - Giving a presentation of the highlights of 11.3 - doing the barbecue - helping people that want to install 11.3 on their laptop - preparing and demoing 11.3 on our touchsmarts - music -> adrian! :-) - general stuff like carrying around chairs and tables - balloon clown (job already taken ;-) The party will take place on July, 15th. I have posters[1] here in my office, and we already have news[2] and facebook[3] articles. Please help to spread the word! Did I miss something, or do you have ideas about additional talks or activities? Greetings!
