I've found that you can remove all but the patterns section, unless
there are specific packages you want to include.

Does anyone know how the remove-packages section is determined?
autoyast is reading out all installed patterns and all installed
packages.
If packages that are part of a pattern are missing, they are added to
the
section.
If you don't remove any packages on your own, you can drop the
complete "remove-packages" section from your profile.
