you are right, I changed this behaviour. Now the client makes also a get for default, but still not for the macadresse:

I don't like this last line because it's a successfull GET request. I guess your webserver has answered with the index.html in this case or with a directory listing (depends on how your webserver is configured). Delete the index.html and/or don't allow directory listing.
