Hello Anas, I have a strange lockup of Yast2 while writing the bootloader. It freezes everytime at 64%. We use FSC P250 with Mylex-Raid-Controller and SLES8 here. Two disks are mirrored for the root disk (/dev/rd/c0d0). The System is booted via PXE (works fine). As you can see in the attachment, we use three primary partitions /, swap and the remaining space is for LVM. The installation of the packages works fine but after that, YaST wants to finish the installation and the screen freezes while installing the bootmanager. However, the virtual consoles are still accessible, so I copied some log to another host. After doing "chroot /mnt" and "lilo -v" successfully, I rebooted the system. It booted and continued with the Post-Install steps as if nothing happened.
