I just received my beta CDs today and am ready to attempt to setup autoyast2. I know kickstart very well, but am new to autoyast2.
Q. In what order do I copy the CDs if I want to autoyast a IA64 SLES 8.0 install?
The answer to this question due to the nature of UL/SLES might be a bit lengthy. So I will write a document and post it to http://www.suse.de/~nashif/autoinstall/ for everybody to read.
Q. in what order do I copy the CDs if I want to autoyast a IA64 UL 1.0 install?
The CDs can be copied into one single direcotry which can be exported for installations. Order does not matter here. In such a direcotry, for every CD there should be a media.# subdir with various product and media information.
Q. Where are the network boot images for IA64?
on the first CD in boot/ The file name is 'image'.

Q. Is Anas' autoyast2.pdf I printed from the Web today all the docs I need?
Yes. Please take a look from time to time on http://www.suse.de/~nashif/autoinstall/ where the online version is kept and were bugs are being listed. Regards, Anas
