Hi Michael,
I hate to be pedantic about this, but which CC license do you release
your images under?
As you can see from the distributions official list
http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Accepted_licences (Content License
section) we can't use the artwork if your chosen CC license is
CC-BY-NC-ND, CC-BY-NC, CC-BY-NC-SA or CC-Sampling, but we can use
CC-BY, CC-BY-SA, CC-BY-ND, or CC0
If you're not sure I'd recommend CC-BY (Creative Commons Attribution),
CC-BY-SA (Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike) or CC0 (Public
Domain)
The wiki page includes links to the detailed descriptions of each
license so you can make an informed decision about your works.
While we allow CC-BY-ND (Creative Commons Attribution - NoDerivs) in
the distribution, it gets a little bit complicated for us if we need
to modify the content in order to make it work for the distribution,
or if we want to make derivative works to use it elsewhere across the
distribution. So I don't recommend it, but its your work to license as
you see fit
Hope this helps
