Jos,
What about the recurrent problem that meetings and discussions are being carried out, often with decisions being made, without the participation of the actual contributors putting stuff in the distribution?
People can, by definition, only decide what THEY will do. And who does the work decides (unless two people do the work on one thing and get in conflict). So decisions mean very little when the maintainer of whatever is being discussed isn't there... (which is a good reason why it would be wise to try and have meetings at a time when at least the maintainers of the artwork in openSUSE, one of which is you, can be there)
This Saturday for example is terrible for me, given I'm tied up with other stuff - I don't expect the world to revolve around me, but I would think as one of those more knowledgeable about the Release process, it would have been nice if I could have had a say about the scheduling so I could contribute.
