Apart from that which compiler would you suggest for recompiling SuSE kernel for x86_64:
a) g++ (native of SuSE 9.2)? b) g++-3.4.3 c) intel-cce

For execution speed, I would go with Intel for your apps. You still need gcc for your kernel optimizations ....
