Hi ,
Did anyone install Suse 9.2 Pro x86_64 with memory more than 4GB.
I got a problem on Suse 9.2 Pro x86_64 installation if memory more than 4GB.
The system no display when system start to load Suse installation .
This issue not occurs if memory less than 4GB. and not occur on Suse 9.1 Pro
x86_64.
I got a success installation if add mem=2048 to boot parameter.
Anyone know why ??
Thanks
Jack Kuan

Not sure out of those listed but I do know that the Gigabyte K8N Pro all works under SuSe 9.1 64bit. It has the Nforce3-150 chipset. The Nforce3-250 should work the same. Nforce seems to work very well for 64bit.

I have a list of MBs to choose from, but would like to consult some real-life-experienced users before I throw my money away:
K8V-X K8V SE Deluxe K8N nForce3 250 K8N-E Deluxe nForce3 250 Pro
Gigabyte GA-K8NS Pro with nForce3-250 chipset.
I had problems getting a stable install with both 9.1 and 9.2. Not just Suse either. Mandrake and Gentoo also. Gentoo was actually pretty stable, but more trouble than I wanted to go through to get what I wanted. I decided to try a 9.2 install with acpi turned off. Install went perfect and I haven't had a bit of trouble since (well, a little nVidia graphics driver trouble, but got it worked out). It has an on board IDE, SATA, IDE raid, and SATA raid. I can't comment on the raid (I have them disabled) but I do have a hard drive (windows), cd rom, and dvd writer on the ide and a single sata drive that I boot from with linux installed on it.
If I needed to set another box, I wouldn't hesitate to use this board again.
