In My humble Opinion... According to what I've read, the SuSE SLES series are famous for exceptional fast kernels. The article I was reading stated that they actually went back and retested the SLES system as the figures they got where almost maxing the theoretical SATA specs. The Pro series is reknown for it's fast changing pace, and having the latest and greatest (within limits)... But mostly SLES is about verification. That is Oracle, IBM DB2, etc are only certified on SLES, as recertifying them every 4 to 6 months is not possible. Jerry On Wed, 2004-10-06 at 21:46, Tom Nielsen wrote:
Thanks :-) But *might* there be something other than that?

I'm wondering if someone can explain the differences between SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 and the regular SuSE Linux Workstation Pro 9.1? I'm trying to decide which to use for an OpenGroupware Server.
