You can get konqueror 64bit to work with the 32bit (this is the only situation I have seen where this work i.e 64bit browser 32bit plugin). By installing the konqueror-nsplugin32bit
Do you mean "by installing the 32 bit version of kdebase3-nsplugin" or do you mean "by installing the 32 bit libflashplayer.so"?
(you've probably got the 64bit one installed, they clash so remove it before trying this).
