Is there anybody who know how does xine or mplayer under Suse 64 works

Hello all together, perhaps there is someone out ther who knows how mplayer or xine under Suse 64 works. I have tryed to install from Pack Mans Page, but it doesnt works. Perhaps there is someone who declare it for an newbie. thanks a lot Heiko
