I read some posts about problems with SATA on K8T Master2-FAR from MSI.
Since I am getting it today and have to install Linux on it with dual Opterom I still don't know if there will be installation possible on SATA disks.
I am also gettign two 80 GB SATA disks, which should be in RAID1. Will this be possible or I have to install it on ATA disk?
Are any other SATA controllers better supported than this one one the motherboard?
What about some from promise: FastTrak S150 SX4
or from Adaptec: Adaptec Serial ATA RAID 1210SA
I found some problems with long timeouts and IRQ timeouts under Linux with this one from Adaptec.
Any other suggestions?

The Promise controller on the Asus SK8N seems to work OK under Mandrake 9.2.
