Exactly -- and the place to look is /etc/modules.conf -- Beware that if you change things there by hand you will also have to change the names of /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-eth* to correct the configurations for the various interfaces. You can also do this in yast2 if you have a good reason not to like the kernels choice for eth0 (the first card that it detects defaults to eth0 and you have to configure all the others, but you can change it (I think:-))

Statistical software for Linux?

Hello Linux folkz, Does somebody know any good statistical software for Linux that allows to create Pareto charts, draw graphs, diagrams, calculate cumulative percentage, Cpk, median, standard distribution and other things for the yield improvement engineering applications? [opensuse] Umbrello does not display private attributes

Using Umbrello Version 2.4.4. When creating a new class, private/protected attributes are not shown in class diagram view. I have verified that show attributes option is checked. Network diagram tool

Looking for an open source network diagrammer. Something that can display servers, workstations, routers, etc. SMTP & autodiscovery a nice option but reality is the network is small enough to support manual updates. Recommendations appreciated. Some time ago I ran across the name of one - am having a brain freeze on search keywords & apologize if it was covered in this list. TIA /Hans

kview fullscreen stuck / kde 3 instable

Shalom, this is surely a bug in teh priogram itself. the last version did work well and also had a nice configuration menu. now not even the fullscreen view displays correctly. the whole kde 3 seems to be amazingly instable. especially konqueror which i use most. after all i wonder if linux ever did leave the stage of an explosion diagram.

Lab drawing program

I'm not able to find a good program for drawing chem lab setups. I'm looking for diagrams with bunsen burners, test tubes and all the other glaswares. I"ve looked at OpenOffice dia qcad xfig + a couple more. But none of these include libraries with objects for a chemical lab. Can't this be found ? Note, it's not a program like xdrawchem that can draw molecules.
