Bernhard M: Thanks for the reply . . . for now Slo Roll is more operational than it was, the problem is that it seems like problems from other options like TW and Leap, in my case the "non-revival from suspend" problem are moving around to new venues like Slo Roll, rather than being "fixed" upstream when encountered on the former venues, etc. That is frustrating to keep hitting the same problems in quick succession. The other issue was the non-login to GUI problem that seemed to be "going around" . . . hitting each of my SUSE installs in rotation. Hopes and prayers, as we say in the US . . . . F

Bug in glibc 2.39

Hi, Since the 20240202 TW snapshot, glibc 2.38 was replaced with 2.39. Since then, USB passthrou for VirtualBox has failed. This was verified by reinstalling 2.38 from the Slowroll repos to a fully updated TW system. None of the listed changes leap out as a probable cause, but I hope that this will jog the memory of one or more of the devs. The bug report is at boo#1219766. Thanks, Larry

Hi, I would personally prefer "Pulsar", which is not available for vote unfortunately. And it might not imply something slow or lagging behind. Stumbleweed might be the most comparable one, so I guess I will vote for it. But it might sound a bit clumsy. I am not sure if clumsy is an attractive attribute of an OS.
