[zypp-devel] .repo file values
Hello, Is there a document that details all the acceptable values of a zypper .repo file? Not much is coming up on google other than a Meego wiki page stating the file format it identical to yum. I'm writing a Puppet type description, zypprepo, for zypper repositories and I want to ensure I'm including all the appropriate values. My current implementation is a port of the yumrepo type and I'm sure it's missing and includes unsupported values. http://wiki.meego.com/Zypper#.repo_file_format https://github.com/deadpoint/puppet-zypprepo -- Later, Darin -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: zypp-devel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: zypp-devel+owner@opensuse.org

http://old-en.opensuse.org/Standards/RepoInfo, but quite old. A subset of yum is implemented plus some zypp specific(*) options. To this day: name enabled priority baseurl * type STRING(rpmmd, susetags or plaindir): autodetected repotype at baseurl * path PATH(/): susetags specific; subpath in case the susetags repo on a CD/DVD set is not located in the CD/DVDs root directory. A few old mostly enterprise media may still use this. * autorefresh [0,1]: whether repo metadata should be refreshed automatically mirrorlist gpgkey gpgcheck * keeppackages [0,1]: whether downloaded packages should be kept in the package cache or be deleted after the package got installed. * service STRING: name of the Repository Index Service in case the repo is controlled by such a service. (http://old-en.opensuse.org/Standards/Repository_Index_Service) proxy Proxy may also be encoded in the baseurl, passed via optional parameters proxy, proxyport, proxyuser and proxypass http://server/path?proxy=http://proxy.provider.de&proxyport=3128 -- cu, Michael Andres +------------------------------------------------------------------+ Key fingerprint = 2DFA 5D73 18B1 E7EF A862 27AC 3FB8 9E3A 27C6 B0E4 +------------------------------------------------------------------+ Michael Andres SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Development, ma@suse.de GF:Jeff Hawn,Jennifer Guild,Felix Imendörffer, HRB16746(AG Nürnberg) Maxfeldstrasse 5, D-90409 Nuernberg, Germany, ++49 (0)911 - 740 53-0 +------------------------------------------------------------------+ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: zypp-devel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: zypp-devel+owner@opensuse.org
