Please revert this. You said you want to maintain your cmake stuff in parallel.
In parallel to who maintains the autofoo stuff, but mls and kkaempf seem to like cmake so there is no autofoo maintainer anymore :-P I can still revert, but looking at README there is no much difference Requires: cmake 2.4.x mkdir build cd build cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/prefix .. make To install: make install and of course bindings are not enabled in autotools. I will revert... but does not make sense if there will be only one using it. Whoops, sorry. I tried to answer to "it is ok to commit it?", the only question in that paragraph :) I understood this as request to commit the whole bindings stuff, not as request if it's okay to remove the automake parts. Sorry for misunderstanding.

Hmm, actually if there's really only one using it (me), I happily introduce back just Makefiles, instead of using those generators. To me it doesn't make that much sense for this small project.
