[zypp-devel] Need test method/procedure to verify functioning of zypper's gpg key auto-import
I've reported a bug re: 'constant' re-DL'ing of gpg keys `during zypper *` actions, Bug 906589 - multiple repos repeatedly/frequently reporting "signed with an unknown key" https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=906589 There, it's been suggested that there's a failure of zypper's key auto-import, https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=906589#c4 Marcus Rueckert 2014-11-21 20:46:00 UTC "... it seems your auto import keys is not functioning." To help troubleshoot the issue, I'm looking for a specific method/procedure to specifically test/verify the functioning, or not, of zypper's key auto-import. What I've been trying (@ bug) hasn't convinced me. Either I'm not clear on what results are telling me, or I'm not testing correctly. What's the right method to test/verify this to narrow down the reported problem? Could you please attach your zypper log (/var/log/zypper.log) to https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=906589. Please make sure the log contains a few failed attempts. To see the execution dates and zypper commands included in a logfile you can install the zypper-log package and execute: zypper-log [-r 1] Use the -r switch to look into rotated logfiles. -- cu, Michael Andres +------------------------------------------------------------------+ Key fingerprint = 2DFA 5D73 18B1 E7EF A862 27AC 3FB8 9E3A 27C6 B0E4 +------------------------------------------------------------------+ Michael Andres SUSE LINUX GmbH, Development, ma@suse.de GF:Jeff Hawn,Jennifer Guild,Felix Imendörffer, HRB21284(AG Nürnberg) Maxfeldstrasse 5, D-90409 Nuernberg, Germany, ++49 (0)911 - 740 53-0 +------------------------------------------------------------------+ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: zypp-devel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: zypp-devel+owner@opensuse.org
