[zypp-devel] GSOC Idea : Mentor Needed
I wish to work on this Google Summer of Code idea http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:GSOC_2011_Ideas#Make_zypper_search_smarter I have previous experience in packaging, algorithms and have made open-source contributions before. As a starter, I have written a patch to fix this bug https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=500988 to enable --match-all search option in zypper. I have talked to the mentor specified on the GSOC 2011 ideas wiki page whose link I have posted above, Michal Marek, and he advised me that someone from this mailing list may be better able to mentor me on this idea.
