knowledge sharing session tomorrow (technical mainframe architecture)
Hello together, as mentioned 2 weeks ago, we have planned bi-weekly trainings. As I heard that we would receive additional people and a lot has been happened in the background, my decisions has been to change the topic of "CI/CD within OBS to "the mainframe architecture and future planning". We will meet us tomorrow at 18:00 (German time)/ 9:00 (Pacific time)/ 17:00 (Nigeria) / 13:00 (Brazil) on our openSUSE Jitsy: https://meet.opensuse.org/s390x Topics for this session: 1) Technical mainframe architecture 2) Planning with Trello or our ticket system progress.opensuse.org (having an better overview about our ToDos) 3) Status update 4) Q&A (open for questions for people missing in the last session) I created a ics file with calendar entries for our bi-weekly sessions. That is attached and downloadable in the wiki. I expect, that we will need 1.5 hours. I am looking forward to see you all. :-) Best regards, Sarah
Hello together, tomorrow is the next of our bi-weekly trainings. That will be about Containerization with OBS and a general overview about OBS as our CI/CD pipeline. We will meet us tomorrow at 18:00 (German time)/ 9:00 (Pacific time)/ 17:00 (Nigeria) / 13:00 (Brazil) on our openSUSE Jitsy: https://meet.opensuse.org/s390x Topics for this session: 1) openSUSE Kubic and Rancher on openSUSE (+ status updates) 2) Introduction into the structure of OBS 3) Builds of container images with OBS 4) osc command and how to create own container images (multiple ways) 5) Q&A (open for questions for people missing in the last session) Additional hints/ updates for tommorow. All people requested a VM should have received one. I have got a pleasure. We spoke about Kanban in our last session. Can everybody without openSUSE account in our team create one before this session, please? You will need it for a better understanding of OBS and for using our infrastructure. Additionally everybody should have logged in into our ticket system https://progress.opensuse.org/. Afterwards, I can add you as users of our project with the integrated Kanban Board. I expect, that we will need 1.5 hours. I am looking forward to see you all. :-) Best regards, Sarah
Hello together, some people had technical issues during the last session. Others were sick or had other important meetings. That is the reason that I want to repeat this training on Tuesday. Time will be the same. Best regards, Sarah
