This frees yast2-core of the DBus and PolicyKit dependency (lslezak). WebYaST ------- lslezak investigated the use of caching to avoid calling of long lasting operations (like getting the list of available patches via PackageKit) repeatedly. As long as the cache is valid, the UI gets the cached result instead of executing the operation. Cache gets invalidated after certain amount of time, or when a change affecting the result is detected. Zypp(er) -------- * Searching/listing/installation by issues (bugzilla #, CPE advisories) added (fate #305503) * --download-only option added to several zypper commands like 'install' to only download packages for later installation (fate #302159). * Logging of http redirections added to ZYpp's Curl backend (fate #305320).
