[yast-devel] odd behavior in yast installer
When installing the OS, and using the online repos, it prefers the "online" version of the package over the local version, even if its the same package! I don't think this behavior is expected, or is it? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: yast-devel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: yast-devel+help@opensuse.org

Libzypp, the package management library used in YaST, currently does not have a priority mechanism for repos. AFAIK the considered attributes are package version, architecture, and vendor. There are some plans to improve that, but I am not sure how far we are. Anyway, see also http://en.opensuse.org/ZYPP_Mailing_Lists -- Martin Vidner, YaST developer http://en.opensuse.org/User:Mvidner Kuracke oddeleni v restauraci je jako fekalni oddeleni v bazenu -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: yast-devel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: yast-devel+help@opensuse.org
