[yast-devel] TCP port for webyast?
Hi, how long are we going to stay with 8080 and 3000? Wouldn't it be useful to decide before the next milestone? -- Martin Vidner, YaST developer http://en.opensuse.org/User:Mvidner Kuracke oddeleni v restauraci je jako fekalni oddeleni v bazenu -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: yast-devel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: yast-devel+help@opensuse.org

Until we're in Beta or we get official port numbers from IANA. See Fate #306714 and #306715. The request was submitted by Federico but I have no idea how long it takes to process it.

We might decide internally to use other port numbers as the current ones are kind of 'officially' assigned to 'http alternative' and 'webrick'. Proposals welcome ! As 6714 and 6715 are already taken, I propose ports 36714 (UI) and 36715 (REST) *grin*. -- Martin Vidner, YaST developer http://en.opensuse.org/User:Mvidner Kuracke oddeleni v restauraci je jako fekalni oddeleni v bazenu -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: yast-devel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: yast-devel+help@opensuse.org
