yast2-theme & yast2-qt-branding-opensuse *require* two different font packages
6 different web browsers I tried won't display <https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Poppins:> "Something went wrong. Please try again soon." I tried <https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Open+Sans> in one browser and it does the same thing. yast2-theme requires google-poppins. yast2-qt-branding-opensuse requires google-opensans. Why are these two font packages required? Is there good reason? What does each font provide that the other doesn't? What do they provide that any other ttf or otf can't that justifies mandatory installation if QT YaST is installed? -- Evolution as taught in public schools is, like religion, based on faith, not based on science. Hi Felix, both theme and branding package is usually touched by design team (opensuse and suse one). So it looks like different people prefer different fonts. For me it is hard to distinguish between ariel and times new roman, so hard to say why branding needs it. Josef

Which shouldn't be installed on any openSUSE distro, because that's a SUSE branding font, feel free to submit a PR fixing this.
yast2-qt-branding-opensuse requires google-opensans.
yast2-qt-branding-openSUSE is only required in the installer, you do not need it installed on your system. LCP [Jake] https://lcp.world/
