[yast-devel] liby2util-devel
Hi, According to <http://doc.opensuse.org/projects/YaST/openSUSE11.3/tutorials/general.html> liby2util-devel package is needed for development environment. However no such package exists according to zypper. toganm@desktop:~> sudo zypper se liby2util-devel Loading repository data... Reading installed packages... No packages found. Is the package renamed to something ? Thanks Togan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: yast-devel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: yast-devel+help@opensuse.org

Hi Togan, the library got swallowed by yast2-core, so yast2-core-devel is enough. I have fixed the source file for the tutorial: http://svn.opensuse.org/viewvc/yast?view=revision&revision=64191 -- Martin Vidner, YaST developer http://en.opensuse.org/User:Mvidner Kuracke oddeleni v restauraci je jako fekalni oddeleni v bazenu

Hi Togan, what are you trying to do with YaST? How is it going? Can we help? -- Martin Vidner, YaST developer http://en.opensuse.org/User:Mvidner Kuracke oddeleni v restauraci je jako fekalni oddeleni v bazenu

Thanks for the follow up. I am maintaining Shorewall packages in security:netfilter. Eventually I would like to submit the packages to Factory where if accepted it would be part of openSUSE. I thought if I can also include a yast2-shorewall module that it might help the end user in configuring the already complex configuration. As of the time being I am trying to understand the logic of the yast2 development and basically reading the online manual. So there is nothing concrete yet. Honestly I am not even there to ask questions or shout out for help yet :) Though rest assured both will surface eventually. Once again thanks a lot Togan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: yast-devel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: yast-devel+help@opensuse.org
