[yast-devel] KVM images installed from recent openSUSE builds
Hi, If you want an image of a system installed from a recent build of openSUSE, you can find it in https://openqa.opensuse.org/ if you know where to look. And these places are the "install-gnome-image" and "textmode-image" tests: For example https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/87242/asset/8285 is discoverable, ahem, easily, as follows: - https://openqa.opensuse.org/ - "openSUSE Tumbleweed" group: https://openqa.opensuse.org/group_overview/1 - most recent build: https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/overview?distri=opensuse&version=Tumbleweed&build=20151003&groupid=1 - Colored circle next to the "install-gnome-image" or "textmode-image" tests: https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/87242 https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/87241 - "Logs & Assets" tab: (no working link!) - 00087242-gnome_image.qcow2 (5.4 GB) The text mode image is much smaller, 470 MB. To run it, you must use the same drivers as openQA did when installing the image. I used: qemu-kvm \ -m 1024 \ -vga cirrus \ -netdev user,id=qanet0 \ -device virtio-net,netdev=qanet0,mac=52:54:00:12:34:56 \ -drive if=virtio,file=00087242-gnome_image.qcow2 Happy testing! -- Martin Vidner, YaST Team http://en.opensuse.org/User:Mvidner Kuracke oddeleni v restauraci je jako fekalni oddeleni v bazenu
